Uhrichsville, OH—Barbour Publishing is pleased to announce that Linda Thiel of South Plainfield, New Jersey, has won The Quilt of 300 Hands Benefit Auction to help support an Amish medical center in Indiana.

The benefit auction was held on from Tuesday, August 12, until Thursday, August 21, for The Quilt of 300 Hands—a one-of-a-kind quilt created from hundreds of squares donated by fans of bestselling author Wanda E. Brunstetter. Seventeen bidders participated in the event, which generated $415 for Oaklawn Psychiatric Center’s program that serves the Amish in Goshen, Indiana.

Barbour Publishing would like to congratulate Linda and thank all bidders who participated in the fundraiser and all those who donated squares to make this event such a success.

Amish country’s most beloved storyteller, Wanda E. Brunstetter, is a New York Times bestselling author of Amish fiction. Wanda became fascinated with the Amish way of life when she first visited her husband’s Mennonite relatives living in Pennsylvania. Wanda and her husband, Richard, live in Washington State but take every opportunity to visit Amish settlements throughout the States where they have many Amish friends.
