Ok, so I’m sitting here today and realized that I’m geeking out even more than usual over the Biola Media Conference this year.
Last week, we confirmed actor/director/producer Sean Astin to speak in a general session. You know, THE SEAN ASTIN: from a few of my all-time favorite films: Rudy, Samwise from The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and a ton of other awesome film and television work. I meet a lot of “famous” people in what I do, but I’m particularly interested to hear directly from Sean about his experiences and how faith has tied into them.
Add that to the opportunity to sit in an intimate setting with Wired co-founder Kevin Kelly and hear directly from him about the future of technology, entertainment and life in general… What more could a faith & culture guy want from a conference?
But wait, actually THERE IS MORE…
- AMC and Columbia Pictures VPs to Speak at Biola Media Conference on April 30, 2011: fresh off some of the most successful ventures in the film/tv world.
- Biola Media Conference Adds World-Renown Lecturers To Line-Up: Bobette Buster On Hollywood Economics and Thomas Ethan Harris On Film Festival Strategies: really practical advice.
This one day event on the lot at CBS Studios has repeatedly been the #1 conference event I attend annually, for 5 years running. This is truly the TED or Catalyst event for anyone of faith involved in film, television, digital media. See the conf info at www.BiolaMedia.com. Sponsorships are also available.
