NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 8, 2015 – Wayne Hastings has joined the Worthy Publishing Group as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Research & Development. Hastings served as a Sr. Vice President of Marketing at Thomas Nelson, after which he was promoted to Sr. Vice President and Publisher of Bibles, Reference & Curriculum. In that role he led the development of best-selling and award-winning products, including the Chronological Study Bible, The Word of Promise Audio Bible, and the Million Bible Challenge campaign.
Hastings served as Associate Executive Editor and marketing consultant on Worthy’s best-selling Jeremiah Study Bible that has sold nearly 300,000 copies in only its first two years.

Hastings will work with Worthy’s marketing team, including marketing managers Caroline Green and Heather Hulse, as well as Director of Public Relations, Morgan Canclini. This marketing group supports Worthy’s trade book program as well as the Inspired, WorthyKids/Ideals, and Ellie Claire imprints.
