Carol Stream, Ill.—Tyndale Kids is helping families interact with the Easter story in a new way through the digital version of My Read and Rhyme Easter Story by Crystal Bowman and Cindy Kenney.

“Tyndale is committed to helping families share the true meaning of Easter with kids,” said Katara Patton, Acquisitions Director for Children and Youth at Tyndale House Publishers. “We firmly believe that children who learn of God’s sacrifice through Christ at an early age can grow in the faith and become strong Christian disciples.”

My Read and Rhyme Easter Story tells children of the real Easter story and combines fun rhythm and rhyme with a learn-to-read format to help them learn about God’s Word. Young readers will enjoy the lively text and engaging art. With this e-book, children can hear a narrator read the story, read along with the narrator, or read on their own.

Bowman and Kenney wrote the story using many of the vocabulary words from the Dolch Sight Word List for young readers. Vocabulary words are featured at the beginning of the story to reinforce reading fluency and build vocabulary skills.

Tyndale is constantly looking for ways to provide great content—text and artwork—in several formats at an inexpensive price so families can enjoy more children’s books. At $1.99, My Read and Rhyme Easter Story accomplishes that mission. The book is now available on Kindle, iBook, and Nook.

About Tyndale Kids
Did you know that Tyndale’s roots are associated with children? Tyndale House Publishers began when Dr. Kenneth Taylor started paraphrasing the Epistles of the Bible to help his kids better understand God’s Word. In that same spirit, Tyndale Kids seeks to provide theologically sound, relevant, age-appropriate content that helps young people develop and nurture the relationship they have with God through Jesus Christ. Through each of our fiction products, devotionals, Bible storybooks, and picture books, Tyndale Kids points children and youth to God as the key to a meaningful life.
