Carol Stream, Ill.—May 7, 2015—Tyndale House Publishers announces the signing of a book deal with award-winning author Dr. Mary Manz Simon. Where Does Love Hide?, a full-color lift-the-flap book written by Manz Simon, will release in spring 2016. Tyndale acquisitions director Linda Howard notes that “Where Does Love Hide? makes use of beautiful imagery and easy-to-remember Bible verses, teaching children that love can be shown to friends and family in many different ways.”

Howard says, “Mary is a highly respected voice in the publishing industry, and we at Tyndale House Publishers are thrilled to be working with her.” She adds, “Mary brings unique insight into children’s publishing, connecting engaging storytelling with educational sensibilities in a way that is irresistible to kids and valuable for parents and educators.”

Mary Manz Simon earned her doctorate in education and has been a thought leader in the children’s Christian marketplace for more than twenty-five years, serving as a corporate consultant in the children’s market for entertainment entities, periodicals, and major publishers. Last year was her twentieth consecutive year presenting on children’s trends at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS).

Mary Manz Simon’s titles have sold more than three million copies in the Christian channel and are available in ten languages. A longtime columnist for Focus on the Family, Manz Simon has authored numerous articles for a variety of periodicals. She is also an adviser to MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and a consultant for their publication, Hello Darling. She writes a monthly column for the MOPS e-newsletter and has also authored curriculum for the organization. Known as the “retailer’s author,” she has visited nearly six hundred Christian bookstores and is the editorial adviser for Christian Retailing.

Manz Simon’s expertise transcends the classroom and the marketplace to real-world parenting. Beyond her vast education, she notes, “It’s the Mommy Zone experiences that are nearest to my heart.” She is invested in the process of raising children and grandchildren and shares, “I would love to support and encourage you as your child grows up—and as you both grow in your relationship with God.”
