Evans’s devotional offers encouragement to anyone feeling betrayed by their body. Diagnosed at an early age with cystic fibrosis, Evans knows about lifelong struggle with a disease and the fallout it creates. Elizabeth Evans is an amazingly strong woman who loves her Savior Jesus Christ. Diagnosed at an early age with cystic fibrosis, she was not expected to live past the age of three. She acknowledges that God had different plans for her as she has long outlived that prognosis. To show her love for God, she has taught Bible studies, been involved in prison ministry, and offers people words of encouragement. Elizabeth is married, a mother of five, and grandmother of six. She calls Birmingham, Alabama, home.
