The legal reasoning behind publishing contracts to be explained in PUBu14 session

Craig Gipson of Flagler Law Group will present “Why Do We Do That? The legal reasoning behind publishing contracts and processes” in a session geared for Rights & Licensing professionals at the upcoming PUBu, held October 20-21 at Wheaton College. Gipson says, “Attendees will improve their ability to determine when to grant exceptions when negotiating contracts, and when to hold the line.” His session will be one of 16 sessions offered in 24-hours of intense training and networking for rights, design, marketing, production, and editorial professionals — and any Christian professional wanting to broaden their network, connect with peers in other companies, and get some ground-level training.
