and Share their Faith
Arvada, CO – In light of the terrible damage from Hurricanes Irma, Jose and Maria, Dare 2 Share is offering complimentary scholarships to this weekend’s Dare 2 Share LIVE events in Florida and Puerto Rico.
Greg Stier, founder of Dare 2 Share, explains, “We wanted to offer these scholarships so that teens in these areas could still attend the event. We didn’t want the hardships presented by the storms to keep students from attending. There has been so much bad news for our country, and Dare 2 Share LIVE is designed to bring the good news and hope found in Jesus Christ in the midst of all this tragedy. It’s often in the darkest times that the light of the gospel shines the brightest.”
Dare 2 Share LIVE is an unprecedented event combining worship, community service and training teens to share their faith in an authentic, tangible way. On September 23, 2017, Dare 2 Share LIVE will be broadcast from a flagship event in Denver, Colorado, and streamed to 69 host sites nationwide. The Denver event will feature prominent speakers and artists such as Greg Stier, Propaganda, Tenth Avenue North, Zane Black and The Skit Guys, while each local site will have their own music teams and emcees as well.
At the event, teens across the nation will be serving their communities in a variety of ways. This includes collecting food for local food pantries, many of which have had their stocks extremely depleted by sending aid to hurricane-ravaged communities.
Greg Stier, Founder and CEO of Dare 2 Share stated, “We are honored that so many churches of all denominations have joined together to be a part of Dare 2 Share LIVE. We know that teens have the power to change our communities for the better. We are praying that God works in incredible ways in September 23, and that our cities will forever be impacted by youth who are committed to impacting their community through service and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.”
A teen-led evangelism movement, Dare 2 Share LIVE will be a national, multi-site training event that is designed to spark a movement of gospel conversations and reach this next generation for Christ. Utilizing technology that students are accustomed to, the event is structured to inspire teens as they are trained to relationally share Christ, and then empower them to reach out to both their local communities and their social networks.
Hurricane effected youth leaders and teens in Florida and Puerto Rico simply need to fill out this form to receive their complimentary tickets.
