Seungtae Kim, president of the Korea Christian Publishers Association (KCPA) killed in car accident
Christian Retailing reports that Seungtae Kim, president of the Korea Christian Publishers Association (KCPA) and Christian Trade Korea and publisher of Jeyoung Communications, died Friday morning, Feb. 21. He was 56, and leaves behind his wife, son and daughter. Kim also organized the Korea Christian Rights Fair. He was also a board member for Christian Trade Association International (CTAI) from July 2010 to June 2013.“He sought to encourage and advance Christian publishing in Korea and around the globe,” said former CTAI Executive Director and CEO Kim Pettit in a Facebook post. “He will be missed!” A memorial service was held for Kim on Monday, Feb. 24. Korean translator Shinhee Yim told Pettit that KCPA will appoint a new president Tuesday, Feb. 25.
