ECPA's Rush To Press

Scotty McCreery Releases First Book, Go Big or Go Home,
on May 3 with Major National Media including Today,
FOX & Friends and Cover Story with American Profile

Singer, songwriter, and now, author Scotty McCreery will release his first book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream (Zondervan) on Tuesday May 3. McCreery will perform live on NBC’s “Today” on May 3 during the 10-11:00 AM hour. The next day, May 4, the country music sensation will be interviewed live on FOX & Friends on the FOX News Channel.  McCreery is also featured on the cover of American Profile. The national weekly magazine will circulate within community newspapers nationwide between April 29-May 3 and reach 10 million households.

McCreery envisions the book as a travelogue and takes the reader on a journey through his life, sharing stories such as his life-altering discovery of Elvis Presley at age five, auditioning for and ultimately winning “American Idol” season 10, and embarking on the country music career he had always dreamed about. He also reveals how he had to grow up quickly when he was thrust into the adult world at age 17, the way he balanced his senior year of high school and college experience with his active recording and touring career, and how he put life into perspective after being robbed at gunpoint. Throughout the book, he writes of how his faith, family and friends have kept him grounded and normal in the midst of a life in the entertainment business.

Go Big or Go Home (ISBN 9780310345220, hardcover) retails at $24.99 and goes on sale from Zondervan May 3, 2016. It is currently available for pre-order at Amazon.comBarnesAndNoble.com , Walmart.comChristianBook. com and other online retailers.
