Grand Rapids, Mich. — Sacred Marriage: What If God Designed Marriage to Make Us Holy More Than Make Us Happy by Gary Thomas won the Book Impact Award at the K-LOVE Fan Awards held in Nashville this week. The K-LOVE Fan Awards is the first and only Christian music awards show where the fans decide who wins through online voting.

Sacred Marriage has sold over 700,000 copies since it released in 2000. Zondervan released an updated edition in August 2015 where Thomas incorporated years of reader feedback and teaching marriage seminars to bring more focus, clarity and understanding to the contemporary classic.

K-LOVE strives to create a fan experience that celebrates and promotes artists, athletes, authors and entertainers who engage and impact popular culture for Jesus Christ. Thomas accepted the K-LOVE Fan Award with a video acceptance speech.
