Ronald L. Nickelson has retired as senior editor of the “Standard Lesson Commentary”

Ronald L. Nickelson, PhD, retired from his role as senior editor of the best-selling Standard Lesson Commentary (SLC) on December 31, 2020. He began his 20 years of service on that curriculum line at Standard Publishing (Cincinnati) in 2000. When the product line was sold in 2015, he continued under new owner David C Cook (Colorado Springs). During several of those 20 years he also served as a chaplain in the Air Force Reserve. He continues in a part-time freelance role on production of the SLC.
