Purity and hope are at the center of everything we do. The Biblical call to purity in thought, word, and deed, particularly in the area of sexuality, is perhaps more important than ever in our society, where daily men, women, and children are assaulted by images, ideas, and expectations that lead to bondage and relational breakdown. But purity is more than simply an avoidance of impurity, more than abstinence from harmful sexual acts and attitudes. It is a dynamic lifestyle that seeks to live out our calling to justice and righteousness. This is reflected in the acronym PURE, representing Pray/Understand/ Resolve/Engage, the four active characteristics of a pure life that will positively impact the world around us.
