COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (June 19, 2015)–WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group has signed best-selling author and international Bible teacher Kay Arthur for four new books in her popular 40-Minute Bible Study series. The four new guides are set to release in December 2015. With over one million copies of the 26-book series sold, these six-week, no homework study guides help readers learn more about Scripture and how it applies to modern life.
“As the first author to sign with WaterBrook Press when we launched the imprint, Kay Arthur has played an invaluable part in our publishing program for years,” said Laura Barker, WaterBrook Multnomah vice president and editorial director. “We count it a privilege to continue to partner with her in ministry. With these four new studies, we look forward to extending the reach of the 40-Minute Bible Study series, which already has impacted countless lives worldwide.”
The first of the four new studies, Ignite Your Passion for God, co-written with the Canadian director of Precept Ministries Mark Sheldrake, challenges readers to take inventory of their relationship with God and offers truth to reignite their passion for their faith.
Jesus: Experiencing His Touch, Jesus: Experiencing His Voice, and Jesus: Understanding His Death and Resurrection together comprise a study series on the life of Jesus through the Gospel of Mark. Perfect for the Lenten season and Easter, these three studies explore the compassion of Jesus, what it means to truly believe the words of Jesus, and the “why” behind the final days of Jesus’ life on earth.
A leader’s note and relevant Bible passages are included in each book, making these self-contained studies an accessible resource for both personal and small-group study.
Arthur is a worldwide Bible teacher and the author of more than 100 books and Bible studies. As the host of the Precepts for Life radio and television programs, her biblical teaching reaches a global audience of over 75 million.
