Outreach, Inc. Releases Church Resources for NBC’s
‘A.D. The Bible Continues’ Television Series

Official Study & Guidebook and Church Campaign Based on the Epic Series
Provide Powerful Opportunity for Churches

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – March 4, 2015. Over 100 million people watched The Bible miniseries in 2013. Now from executive producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett comes A.D. The Bible Continues—the epic and inspiring journey through the first 10 chapters of the Book of Acts and the rise of the early church. Outreach, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of church communications resources, is co-publishing the church resources with LightWorkers Media and My Healthy Church (a division of the Assemblies of God denomination).

Picking up where The Bible miniseries left off, A.D. The Bible Continues premiers on NBC on Easter Sunday night, April 5, 2015, and runs 12 weeks through June 21. The A.D. series provides a unique outreach opportunity for churches, who are encouraged to launch the 12-week sermon series on Easter Sunday, invite their communities to see an exclusive sneak peak of the TV show, and then host A.D.viewing parties in their churches or members’ homes during the series.

Resources now available include the Official A.D. Study & Guidebook and the Official A.D. Church Kit. With twelve chapters that viewers can use alongside the television series, the Study & Guidebook also contains application sections and discussion questions for group or individual study. The Official A.D.Church Kit features twelve sermons by respected Bible teachers such as Wilfredo De Jesus, Mark Batterson, and Rice Broocks, and video clips from the A.D. episodes that correspond with each sermon. Interested churches, pastors or lay leaders are encouraged to learn more about the A.D. campaign resources by visiting www.Outreach.com/AD.

“These A.D. resources create a tremendous opportunity for churches to help their members and community discover more about the powerful stories of the first followers of Christ, the rise of the early church, and what it means today,” said Scott Evans, founder and CEO of Outreach, Inc. “It’s also a chance for them to reach out to the millions of people who will be watching the TV series and want to learn more about the stories they’re seeing from the Book of Acts.”

Additional resources are available at Outreach.com, including an A.D. Viewing Party Kit that includes everything needed to host a viewing party at a home or church, including a host guide with tips and ideas, the Study & Guidebook, and invitation cards.

Founded in 1996, Outreach, Inc. has become the largest provider of church outreach products and services in the world. With a mission to share God’s love and empower the church to share the message of Jesus Christ, Outreach provides cost-effective, proven resources in a variety of forms, including books, media and film, postcard invitations, banners, bulletin covers, curriculum, church campaign materials and more.
