Mari White has a long history of experience in the entertainment industry. She originally decided to take on the Newsboys project after having witnessed a live concert with the band in New York City. The enthusiasm of the audience and their wide-open faith compelled her to accept the challenge of launching the series on television. Thus, the first series of “Mari White Presents the Newsboys”—an MTV style Christian reality show for teens and young adults—was independently financed, produced and broadcast on over 12 major networks nationally as well as worldwide, reaching 80+ million viewers. In addition, the show has been honored with multiple awards.

The Newsboys consist of members Michael Tait, Jody Davis, Jeff Frankenstein and Duncan Phillips. Their message of Christ’s love and sacrifice is delivered in every concert, and the story resonates in the hearts of those that follow the band’s progress. The show features not only their performances, but takes viewers behind the scenes to see what life is really like as member of the Newsboys.
