COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Apr. 14, 2016)—WaterBrook announces the publication of the trade paper edition of Hiding in the LightWhy I Risked Everything to Leave Islam and Follow Jesus by Christian convert Rifqa Bary. Originally released in May 2015 in hardcover format, Hiding in the Light landed at #9 on the New York Times “Religion, Spirituality and Faith” Best-seller List for June 2015.

Bary, who as a teenager made headlines in 2009 for running away from home in fear for her life after converting from Islam to Christianity, chronicled her journey of faith that led to the high-profile, multi-state custody case in her bold memoir Hiding in the Light. The trade paper edition will be available May 3, 2016.

Since the book’s release Bary has appeared on such national programs as “The Glenn Beck Show,” “Fox & Friends,” “Justice with Judge Jeanine Pirro,” “The 700 Club,” “Sean Hannity Radio Show,” “Eric Metaxas Show” and dozens of others. She is also scheduled to appear on “Life Today with James & Betty Robison on May 3, 2016.

“My dream would be for my book to provoke, young and old, to pursue the Lord in a deeper way than they have before. I hope my story grips them to search out what it means, in their individual walk, to give everything to Christ,” Bary says.
