Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth receives annual award honoring
Robert Neff, former vice president of Moody Radio

Radio host and teacher for Revive Our Hearts, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, is the recipient of the 2016 Robert Neff Award. A reception in her honor was held by Moody Radio during the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville on Thursday, Feb. 25.

Revive Our Hearts, along with Nancy’s one-minute feature Seeking Him, is a nationally-syndicated half-hour program. It is heard daily on more than 800 radio outlets including Moody Radio.  As women tune in, Nancy challenges them to thrive in Christ as they discover, embrace and delight in Him.

“The hearts and lives of countless women around the world have been transformed by the Lord through Nancy’s ministry and we are humbled by the opportunity to partner with her,” said Collin Lambert, vice president of Moody Radio. “Her love for the Lord is clearly evident in all she does, and her ability to connect with listeners in a meaningful, personal way so that they understand God’s Word and apply it to their lives is at the very heart of this award’s recognition.”

Celebrating 11 years, Moody Radio’s annual Robert Neff Award recognizes an outstanding religious broadcaster for “distinguished spiritual excellence in religious broadcasting” and is sponsored by the Christian Law Association. It honors the legacy of Bob Neff, former vice president of Moody Radio. In April 2006, at the age of 64, Neff died after a three-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative illness often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

“Bob Neff had a smile and heart as big as the world,” recalls DeMoss Wolgemuth. “He was a faithful servant who persevered over the long haul, never losing his joy in the Lord, whether in seasons of abundance or adversity. His friendship, encouragement, and example were a great inspiration to me as a new broadcaster.”

Nancy is also a bestselling author with Moody Publishers. She has written 18 books that have sold more than 2.9 million copies and been distributed in eighteen languages. Several of her books include Lies Women Believe, Seeking HimChoosing Gratitude, and Holiness.

Since 1980, Nancy has served on the staff of the Buchanan, Michigan-based Life Action Ministries, which was founded over 40 years ago to “spark spiritual change in families, churches, and nations.” Revive our Hearts is an outreach of Life Action Ministries. In addition to radio, Revive our Hearts holds women’s conferences around the country and in 2014 launched The Ambassador Program, a strategic network of leaders around the world who are spreading the message of heart revival and biblical womanhood in their communities.
