Moody Publishers’ New Fiction Author Wins 2015 Christy Award
Chicago, Ill.— July 1, 2015—Moody Publishers is pleased to announce that first time fiction author, Marcus Brotherton, received a “Best First Novel” Christy Award at the 2015 Christy Awards ceremony, held on June 29th at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fla. The sixteenth annual Christy celebration was held in conjunction with CBA’s International Christian Retail Show. The purpose of the Christy Awards is to honor and promote excellence in Christian fiction.
Best known for his non-fiction work Brotherton was delighted to win the award for his debut fiction book, Feast for Thieves (August 2014). He is the author or coauthor of more than twenty-five nonfiction books. Notable works include Shifty’s War, A Company of Heroes, and the oral history project, We Who Are Alive and Remain: untold stories from the Band of Brothers, a New York Times bestseller.
