Mardel Christian & Education has partnered with the Baptist Medical & Dental Mission International (BMDMI) to provide Bibles in Spanish for distribution in Central America.

For the months of June and July 2014, Mardel featured a Spanish Bible at its cash registers for customers to purchase to donate to this cause. For the cost of $5 a customer could put a new Spanish Bible in the hands of people in Central America where BMDMI is currently ministering to the people there.

“God has honored the heart’s desire of both Mardel and BMDMI to provide God’s Word to the people of Central America,” said Kevin McDonell, Merchandise Manager for Mardel. “Our prayer is that each Bible donated will have an eternal and life-changing impact on the individuals who receive them.”

The two month total of Bibles purchased through Mardel was approximately 75,000 Bibles. There was also a matching gift by a donor to bring the total number of Bibles donated to 100,000. These Bibles will be printed and sent to BMDMI for distribution through their channels in Central America.

The ultimate purpose of those clinics is to share the Good News with people who might not otherwise hear about Jesus Christ.
