Leading marketing and PR voices in the marketplace to headline PUBu marketing sessions
PUBu14, Oct. 20-21 — from 3pm to 3pm — at Wheaton College, Ill.
PUBu Marketing Community Captain, Chad Cannon has announced the marketing program for ECPA’s upcoming PUBu. The VP of marketing for Nelson books will participate along with what he’s dubbed, “the leading marketing and PR voices in the marketplace sharing on topics about marketing, social media, email marketing, and publicity.” Cannon explains, “We will have sessions that will help anyone in the industry, whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a rookie to the publishing industry. My goal is to create content that is pushing the envelope for even people that have been in the industry 10+ years and also for people that are brand new (1-2 years). We will also include session, TEDx style, with a number of short presentations about big ideas.”
Session speakers joining Chad Cannon include:
- Digital marketing gurus Justin Wise (CEO/founder of TheWise Group) and Ryan Frederick (Principal/Creative Director of emg); along with digital marketing strategist Joel Widmer, founder of Fluxe Digital Marketing
- Leading publicists Shanon Stowe (President, Icon Media Group Literary Division) and Emily Lineberger (Director of Publicity, Nelson Books)
- Viral content expert Brian Orme, Senior Editor of Outreach, Inc.
- Social media expert Tim Schraeder, who has worked with some of the world’s most influential churches and para-church organizations
