When her husband, NFL legend and broadcaster Frank Gifford, died, the buoyant Kathie Lee Gifford hit a wall. But her story doesn’t stop there because she also believes in “more than here, more than now.” On the third of four Faithful Fridays, television host Kathie Lee Gifford—and Dr. Oz—explore faith in the face of deep loss. Kathie Lee Gifford, with Hoda Kotb, co-hosts the fourth hour of NBC’s Today Show. Gifford also devotes considerable time to helping abused, neglected, sick and poverty-stricken children through organizations such as Childhelp, where she is spokesperson, and the Association to Benefit Children (ABC), which sponsors Cassidy’s Place and Cody House in New York City, named after Gifford’s children.
