WESTMONT, IL —InterVarsity Press will soon be offering readers a chance to “read” while on the move with new digital offerings. IVP will be releasing fourteen books in audio format from February through September 2015.

“In our busy and increasingly digital world, this is a new opportunity to get our books into the hands and, more specifically, the ears of our readers,” said Jeff Crosby, IVP’s associate publisher. “This is a new and convenient way for our established readers to enjoy old favorites and new releases.”

IVP has already released the digital download and three audio CDs in English, Spanish and Korean forCalled: The Crisis and Promise of Following Jesus Today by Fuller Theological Seminary president Mark Labberton.

Crosby said the primary objective for releasing a line of audio books is to produce significant Christian books in audio format in multiple languages. IVP also aims to use these audio books to stimulate creative “just show up” book clubs. Crosby added, “The audio book small group is a developing trend that IVP Audio can serve with titles of distinction from authors—both classic and contemporary—that readers want to engage with.”

The list of IVP audio books will include:

  • John Stott— Your Mind Matters
  • Mark Labberton— The Dangerous Act of Worship
  • Mark Labberton — The Dangerous Act of Loving Your Neighbor
  • John White— Daring to Draw Near
