on Happiness
Noted theologian Randy Alcorn will host a free webcast on Wednesday, September 30, 2:30 pm EST/ 11:30 am PST followed by a live twitter chat on the subject of his upcoming book, Happiness.
Alcorn is the founder and director of Eternal Perspective Ministries and the New York Times bestselling author of more than forty books, including Heaven, with more than one million sold. Contrary to claims that true happiness can only be experienced in Heaven, Alcorn demonstrates that God promises us happiness in the here and now.
In the webcast, Alcorn will answer common questions related to happiness.
- Is God happy?
- Are Christians supposed to experience happiness in our earthly existence?
- Does happiness relate to the Gospel message?
- Isn’t happiness the same as prosperity gospel?
- How are joy and happiness fundamentally different?
For those who miss the live event, the video will be available for re-play afterwards at www.happinessandheaven.com. Randy Alcorn’s book Happiness releases in hardcover, audio and ebook editions October 6 for purchase at bookstores or online.
