HarperCollins Christian Publishing Wins Four Christian Retailing’s Best Awards
Thomas Nelson and Zondervan recognized at 2015 ICRS Trade Show

Orlando, FL – HarperCollins Christian Publishing received numerous industry accolades at the 2015 International Christian Retail Show (ICRS), Christian retail’s largest trade show, on Tuesday,
June 30.

Thomas Nelson and Zondervan received Christian Retailing’s Best Awards in the following categories:

  • Christian Living: Spiritual Growth – “Before Amen” by Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson)
  • Nonfiction: Women’s – “The Best Yes” by Lysa TerKeurst (Thomas Nelson)
  • Young Adult Fiction – “The Princess Spy” by Melanie Dickerson (Zondervan)
  • Health and Fitness – “Body and Soul” by Bethany Hamilton, with Dustin Dillberg (Zondervan)

“Christian Retailing’s Best Awards are tangible reminders to our industry that what we do impacts hearts and minds,” said David Moberg, SVP and group publisher at HarperCollins Christian Publishing. “We are honored to have Thomas Nelson and Zondervan authors amongst this year’s winners, and we congratulate them on their accomplishments.”

In addition to the Best Awards, HarperCollins Christian Publishing received multiple wins from the Logos Awards, including Vendor of the Year and Author of the Year for Philip Yancey. Individual titles were also given Logos Awards, including:

  • Best Book – Fiction: “The Fatal Tree” by Stephen Lawhead (Thomas Nelson)
  • Best Book – Youth: “You Have a Brain” by Ben Carson (Zondervan)
  • Best Book – Christian Living: “Vanishing Grace” by Philip Yancey (Zondervan)

A Thomas Nelson fiction title, “Storm Siren” by Mary Weber, was presented a Christy Award in the Young Adult Category at the Christy Awards Dinner during ICRS. “Storm Siren” is author Weber’s first Christy Award win.
