one million Reading Plans through YouVersion™

(Nashville, TN) March 16, 2016—HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP) announced today that through YouVersion’s Bible App and website, more than one million combined reading plans from Thomas Nelson and Zondervan have been completed. In just a year and a half, the two publishing groups have created 77 scriptural and devotional reading plans with more than 4,000 being completed per day.
Aligning its mission to inspire the world with content that honors God, with YouVersion’s purpose to connect people with God’s Word, HCCP offers a variety of free content from Thomas Nelson’s and Zondervan’s Bibles, study resources, children’s, fiction, and non-fiction books. Ranging in length from a few days to an entire year, Thomas Nelson and Zondervan reading plans are available in both the NKJV and NIV translations, in addition to book excerpts from leading authors paired with a daily devotional.

The Bible App, which has now been downloaded more than 215 million times, places the best-selling book of all time in the hands of people worldwide. The Bible App currently offers over 1200 versions of the Bible in more than 900 languages across every major mobile platform. Whether a frequent or first-time reader of the Bible, the free app enables users to customize their experience, without the interruptions of ads.
