HarperCollins Christian Publishing
Promotes Damon Reiss to Director of Bible Sales

(Nashville, TN) March 7, 2016—HarperCollins Christian Publishing announced the recent promotion of Damon Reiss to director of Bible Sales for HarperCollins Christian Publishing.  As director of Bible Sales, Reiss will create synergies across the sales channels and increase the company’s focus on Bible sales.  He will also act as a liaison between the multiple Bible sales channels and the HCCP Bible groups.

Reiss has been with the organization for 13 years. In 2003, Reiss was hired by Zondervan as an inside sales rep and moved into field sales where he remained for three years.  In 2006, he was hired by Thomas Nelson as a field rep and then was moved into various key account managing roles.  When the two companies integrated in 2012, Reiss was tasked with selling all Bible translations for HarperCollins Christian Publishing.

As the director of Bible Sales, Reiss is responsible for all Bible sales in the CBA, Custom and Biblica sales channels.  Though all other internal sales channels will continue to have ownership of their Bible business, he will use his leadership and experience to influence Bible sales through all channels.
