March 26, 2014 (Nashville, TN)—HarperCollins Christian Publishing announced today that Eric Nystrom will be joining the Company on April 7, 2014 as its new vice president of Spanish International Sales. Nystrom will be based at the Company’s corporate office, in Nashville, TN.

Nystrom joins HarperCollins Christian Publishing with a strong background in international trade, consulting and sales and operations management. Nystrom’s portfolio includes working with various companies to establish or grow their international presence. He is accredited with growing international revenue from less than 5% to over 35% of a company’s total sales and an increase in global distribution and manufacturing from 12 to 55 countries in fifteen years.

As the vice president of Spanish International Sales, Nystrom will be responsible for all HarperCollins Christian Publishing product sales within Latin America, with exception to Mexico. The Company’s Spanish products are published under the Clie, Editorial Vida, Especialidades Juveniles, and Grupo Nelson imprints.
