Before you advertise and promote your Christian project or organization, to the faith-based or faith-friendly audience, you have to know a few things about WHO you are trying to reach and WHEN you want to reach them.
One of the most common mistakes made by companies, ministries, and non-profits, as well as Christian authors, bands or any other creative artist, is that they engage in self-expression without purposeful intention. This is the reason that FrontGate Media receives so many less effective “Available Now” ads from marketers.
So very often, I wish I could stop the whole process and make marketers fix their ad campaigns so they can be more effective, but everyone is working on deadlines at the last minute, so my hope is always in educating and informing for your future adverting promotions. - Where are their interests?
- What are their current buying habits?
- Where can you reach them?
- What do they want to achieve and how can you help them?
- What is your unique offering to them – what benefit do you give them?
