Editorial Portavoz honored with Publisher
of the Year and multiple awards at SEPA

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Editorial Portavoz, founded in Barcelona, Spain, in 1970 by Harold Kregel, received the award for Publisher of the Year granted by the Spanish Evangelical Publishers Association (SEPA) and voted for by distributors and booksellers from Spain and Latin America.

The SEPA Awards took place in Miami, Florida, on Wednesday, August 9, during Expolit 2017, a convention that brings together the Spanish Christian publishing and music industries.
Editorial Portavoz received awards in other categories as well.

Biblia de la mujer conforme al corazón de Dios, an original project in Spanish edited by Elizabeth George, won two awards: one for best cover and interior design of a Bible and another for best ad.

These two awards reflect the dynamic teamwork of Editorial Portavoz, which combines years of editorial experience with outstanding strategies and knowledge of sales and marketing.

And for the second year in a row, was chosen as the best website due to its efficiency in improving customer relationships, among other criteria.

Furthermore, La gratitud. El perdón by Nancy Leigh DeMoss won the award for best-selling mass market book.

Tito Mantilla, executive director of Editorial Portavoz, said he was very proud of his team for their superb marketing efforts and customer service, outstanding sales team, and excellent quality of the books and Bibles they produce. “I am honored and very grateful for the recognition of Editorial Portavoz by the industry,” concluded Mantilla.

The mission of Editorial Portavoz is to provide quality products—with integrity and excellence—from a solid biblical perspective that encourage people in their spiritual life and Christian service.

The Spanish Evangelical Publishers Association was founded in 1960 to promote dialogue among publishers and organize activities and events that facilitate the distribution of Christian resources.
