“This industry produces not only life changing content but good art,” says ECPA executive director Stan Jantz. “The Top Shelf program gives us opportunity to celebrate and enjoy beautiful book design – one of the great pleasures of owning a good book. I encourage everyone to not just view the images of these 18 covers, but to hold them and appreciate their artistry.”
Winning book covers, along with judge comments, are featured at bookcoverawards.com and in a print annual printed by Color House Graphics and distributed to the industry. Contact ECPA for copies.
Program information, including judge bios and future submission information, can be found on the ECPA website. The submission period for the 2017 Top Shelf Design Awards will open in November 2016.
