Charlotte, NC – This weekend, Dr. Frank Turek will be a featured speaker at VERITAS: A Symposium on Theology and Apologetics. There, he will bring clear, understandable evidence in the case for Christianity, speaking on the topics “Does Truth Exist?”, “Does God Exist?”, and “Are Miracles Possible?”. Joining Dr. Turek at the event will be Dr. Ted Cabal, Professor of Christian Philosophy and Apologetics at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminar, and Dr. Jack Cottrell, Professor of Theology at Cincinnati Christian University. Hosted by Louisville Bible College, VERITAS will be held June 6 and 7 at Okolona Christian Church in Louisville Kentucky.

Dr. Turek, author of the book “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist”, is the founder of CrossExamined.org, an organization that exists to address the problem that 3-out-of-4 Christian youth leave the church while in college, many because they are intellectually skeptical. To help reverse this exodus of young people from the Christian faith, Dr. Turek and the team at CrossExamined conduct dynamic I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist outreach events on college campuses, at high schools and in churches around the world. At these events, Dr. Turek presents the evidence for Christianity, cross-examines arguments against it, and directly answers skeptical student questions.

Dr Turek and his team also produce a weekly “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist” TV show on the NRB Network (DirectTV Channel 378), as well as a radio show and podcast by the same name, which airs on 122 stations each week.

The VERITAS Symposium was created by Louisville Bible College to help churches proclaim and defend Christian truth. Event is designed to help pastors discover the importance of incorporating theology and apologetics into their church ministry, which is vital to evangelism and making disciples.

VERITAS: a Symposium on Theology and Apologetics will be held at Okolona Christian Church, 10801 Faithful Way, Louisville, KY 40229. The event will kick off Friday, June 6, 2014 at 6:00pm and continue throughout the day on Saturday, June 7. Register online at http://veritas.mylbc.edu/
