DiAnn Mills’ Firewall Wins RWA® Golden Quill Contest, Voted No. 1 in the Inspirational Category for 2015
Tyndale House to publish series finale of Mills’ FBI: Houston trilogy, which concludes with Deadlock, releasing October 2015
Carol Stream, Ill.—The Phoenix Desert Rose Chapter of Romance Writers of America (RWA®) recently announced on their website that Tyndale House Publishers (http://www.tyndale.com) author DiAnn Mills’ novel Firewall has been recognized as the Golden Quill Winner of 2015, voted #1 best book in the Inspirational category. Firewall‘s Golden Quill award will appear in the July issue of RWA Magazine, declared among all 2015 Golden Quill Contest Winners, as judged in each category by the official Contest Committee of RWA®, which acknowledges excellence in romance fiction.
Upon its release in July 2014, which launched Mills’ three-book FBI: Houston series, Firewall immediately met with reviewers’ highest praises, earning top endorsements from most trusted trade magazines including Publishers Weekly, Booklist, Book Page, Library Journal, among others in addition to its blanket popularity as an instant “favorite” among consumers. The suspense thriller achieved highest critical acclaim as it was widely recognized as the 2014 winner of a genre fiction award from Library Journal, as well as a 2015 finalist for the prestigious Christy Award, in the running for Christian Contemporary Romance, until winners are announced at the annual banquet in late June.
Mills invites readers and fans to “expect an adventure!,” as she consistently delivers through her writing, where she enticingly describes on her website (http://www.diannmills.com/) “the thrill of suspense weaves with a touch of romance to keep you turning pages—and wanting more.” Mills continued to captivate readers’ interest with the April 2015 release of book two, Double Cross, another gripping fictional narrative inspired by real-world scenarios of potential threats currently relevant to what the nation’s actual FBI faces today. The third and last of her FBI: Houston novels will follow in due form, as Tyndale concludes the successful suspense trilogy with the series finale by DiAnn Mills, titled Deadlock, to be released in October 2015.
