David C Cook Appoints Tim Close as Senior Director of Marketing

Colorado Springs, CO (October 17, 2014) – David C Cook has appointed industry veteran Tim Close as Senior Director of Marketing, joining the Trade Book team effective September 8, 2014.

Close comes to David C Cook with a wealth of experience in both the marketing and publishing industries, with expertise in new product development, digital marketing technology, as well as leading marketing teams in strategic and successful campaigns.

Close received his Bachelors in English from UCLA. He previously served as the CEO at CrowdScribed, CEO at Douglas Shaw & Associates and Senior Vice President at Zondervan Publishers, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Serta Inc., as well as Interim Head of Marketing at Ignite USA. He recently relocated to Colorado Springs from Lake Zurich, Illinois.
