Chriscynethia Floyd Leads Marketing for
New Ministry Initiative at David C Cook

Colorado Springs, Colo., February 22, 2016 – David C Cook is pleased to announce that Chriscynethia Floyd will expand her role and become the vice-president of marketing and sales for the newly created Learning Resources Strategic Ministry Unit (SMU).

Cook recently realigned its books and curriculum into the SMU after acquiring the resources of Gospel Light and Standard Publishing last fall. Floyd initially joined Cook in July 2015 as vice-president of marketing for books and media.

Floyd says, “David C Cook has a long history of equipping and inspiring the body of Christ. This newly created Strategic Ministry Unit will provide greater opportunity for the team to develop additional resources and bring focus to our work with ministry partners, Christian retailers, and authors.”

Over Floyd’s 20-year publishing career, she has held key positions in marketing, sales and product creation at Barnes & Noble, Children’s Defense Fund, Perseus Book Group, HarperCollins Publishers, and Zondervan Publishing. Floyd, who recently relocated to Colorado Springs, is also a classically trained vocalist who has performed for presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
