CHOICE TO LEAD BOOK PUBLICITY CAMPAIGNS FOR OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST DAVID BOUDIA, SIMPLIFIED PLANNER® FOUNDER EMILY LEY AND IMPASSIONED MOTHER KATE GROSMAIRE
Nashville, Tenn. – March 21, 2016 – Entertainment and lifestyle public relations business Choice Media & Communications announced today the renewal and addition of several clients to its expanding portfolio. Following the success of previous projects with Choice, Elevate Publishing and nationally acclaimed leadership expert and bestselling author Michael Hyatt have elected to resume their partnerships. Choice was also tapped to spearhead national media campaigns for three of Thomas Nelson’s forthcoming titles including “GREATER THAN GOLD: From Olympic Heartbreak To Ultimate Redemption” by nationally recognized diving champion David Boudia, “GRACE, NOT PERFECTION: Embracing Simplicity, Celebrating Joy” by Simplified Planner® Founder and lifestyle expert Emily Ley, and “FORGIVING MY DAUGHTER’S KILLER: A True Story of Loss, Faith, and Unexpected Grace” by the victim’s mother Kate Grosmaire.
“Each of these clients have such unique, inspiring advice and compelling stories to share,” said Choice Media Co-Founder Beth Gebhard. “It is an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to work with them.”
Idaho-based multi-platform publishing company Elevate Publishing recently hired Choice Media to lead the successful publicity campaign for “It’s My Pleasure: The Impact of Extraordinary Talent and a Compelling Culture” by Dee Ann Turner, Vice President of Enterprise Social Responsibility at Chick-fil-A. The campaign resulted in coverage in Fortune, Forbes, Huffington Post and “Fox & Friends,” among others. Based on this success, Elevate opted for an ongoing partnership with Choice Media where they will provide strategic consultation on branding, marketing and public relations strategy.
Choice Media is currently leading the national publicity campaign for USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestseller “Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want” from co-authors Daniel Harkavy and Michael Hyatt. Beyond the book campaign, Hyatt, a widely recognized publishing veteran, worldwide leading podcaster and New York Times bestselling author has contracted with Choice to build his brand and expand the reach of his message to national media.
“I’ve known Heather Adams for more than a decade and valued our time working together when I was the CEO of Thomas Nelson,” said leadership expert Michael Hyatt. “So when we determined that we needed a PR partner, she was my first call. She and the team at Choice are driven and with well-established media relationships and a proven track record, we look forward to a tremendous partnership.”
Thomas Nelson enjoys a long-standing relationship with Choice Media and selected them to lead the national publicity campaigns for three of its forthcoming titles. Publishing August 2016, “GREATER THAN GOLD: From Olympic Heartbreak To Ultimate Redemption” by Olympic Gold medalist and 2016 Olympic hopeful David Boudia, chronicles the diver’s journey from reckless, hard-partying collegiate athlete to focused and redeemed Olympic Gold medalist. Boutique lifestyle brand founder and creator of the Simplified Planner® Emily Ley will bring her wisdom, fun and organizational expertise to “GRACE, NOT PERFECTION: Embracing Simplicity, Celebrating Joy,” publishing October 2016. It will be the guidebook for any woman who wants to simplify her life by giving practical steps to finding the time for what matters most. And, “FORGIVING MY DAUGHTER’S KILLER: A True Story of Loss, Faith, and Unexpected Grace,” just published, details Kate Grosmaire’s journey of grace, forgiveness and restorative justice for their daughter’s boyfriend, Conor McBride, who killed their daughter, Ann.
Thomas Nelson Senior Publicist Stefanie Schroeder said, “Choice Media is an ideal partner for the “Grace, Not Perfection” project due to the firm’s on-target PR approach, solid media relationships in the Christian and secular markets and consistent results. They came highly recommended by fellow colleagues and previous clients, and we are looking forward to introducing Emily Ley and her brand to the media with their strategic counsel.”
Thomas Nelson Associate Director of Publicity Tiffany Sawyer added, “We are thrilled to once again be working with the Choice team. We have confidence they will handle Kate Grosmaire’s sensitive and powerful story with care and consideration.”
Choice Media & Communications has strategized and managed the successful national media campaigns of country music icon Naomi Judd, Jen Hatmaker’s New York Times bestseller “For the Love”; New York Times bestselling author Crystal Paine’s “Money-Making Mom”; Chick-fil-A’s Senior Executive Dee Ann Turner and her book “It’s My Pleasure”; Rachel Macy Stafford’s “Hands Free Life” and New York Times bestseller “Hands Free Mama”; New York Times bestselling author Alexandra Robbins’ “The Nurses”; Sean Lowe’s New York Times bestseller “For The Right Reasons”; wrestling icon Shawn Michaels’ New York Times bestseller “Wrestling for My Life”; parenting expert Dr. Vanessa Lapointe’s “Discipline Without Damage”; and Duck Dynasty mother-daughter duo Korie and Sadie Robertson with Korie’s book “Strong & Kind” and Sadie’s line of Live Original décor through Glory Haus.
