CHOICE MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS SIGNS HGTV STAR AND BESTSELLING AUTHOR JEN HATMAKER
New Book, For The Love, Publishes August 2015
Nashville, Tenn. – March 18, 2015 –Choice Media & Communications today announced their partnership with celebrated blogger, bestselling author and HGTV star of “Your Big Family Renovation” Jen Hatmaker. Launched June 2014 by Founders Heather Adams and Beth Gebhard, the boutique entertainment and communications business will handle all public relations efforts for her upcoming book, For The Love: Fighting For Grace in a World of Impossible Standards, publishing August 18, 2015.
“After interviewing several top PR firms, Choice was the clear and obvious winner for For the Love,” said Hatmaker. “Usually when reading PR pieces or interacting with the media outlets, I feel like a weird, inauthentic version of myself—‘the PR version.’ But with every idea, press release, invitation, and announcement created by Choice, I feel like my real, normal, actual self. From the southern-themed NYC luncheon, to the pitch-perfect media choices, to the spot-on descriptions of not only this book but me, Choice has demonstrated at every turn that they understand my heart, my style, my reader, and my message, and they know exactly what to do with it.”
For the Love publisher, Thomas Nelson, has worked extensively with Choice Media & Communications and Publicity Director Emily Lineberger added, “The Choice team has shown us time and again that they bring expertise and A-game to every project they handle.” She added, “They get Jen Hatmaker. They understand her heart, her language, and her people. We’re confident in their unique combination of expertise and passion.”
In a short time, Choice Media & Communications has enjoyed a range of successes including the launch of America’s Favorite Bachelor Sean Lowe’s tell-all For the Right Reasons – a New York Times bestseller; wrestling icon Shawn Michaels’ Wrestling for My Life – also a New York Times bestseller; as well as ongoing work with intentional finance specialist Crystal Paine, whose line of home organizational products with Atlanta-based Glory Haus is set to release this year; country music legend, Chicago Ideas Week keynote speaker and passionate health advocate Naomi Judd; HandsFreeMama.com blogger and New York Times bestselling author Rachel Macy Stafford; and, Southern Weddings Magazine Founder Lara Casey, among others.
Of the deal, Adams said “I have been a passionate follower of Jen’s for the last five years. She is someone we desperately wanted to work with because we know what a significant impact Jen is having on women globally. We are her tribe. Our hope is that even more are exposed to her insane humor, complete vulnerability and extension of grace.”
