February, 2014 – The Christian Authors Network (CAN) welcomes Dave Fessenden, Christine Lindsay, and Elizabeth Ludwig to its Operating Board.

CAN recently announced several Board vacancy positions and reached out to its membership of published authors and writing industry professionals for help. Positions that CAN President, Angela Breidenbach, sought to fill included Vice-President, Member at Large, and Public Relations.

“We are fortunate to have such a large pool of established industry professionals to pull from,” Breidenbach said. “I was delighted with the response to our call for nominations. We are all excited about what this new board can accomplish in the months ahead.”

Besides a vast combined knowledge of writing and promotion within the industry, CAN hopes to offer even greater benefits to its members in the coming years. Other positions currently held on the CAN Board include Secretary, Ava Pennington, and Treasurer, Karen Whiting.

Established in 2008 as a way of banding Christian authors together in a supportive association, CAN has grown to over 130 members, all working collectively to spread the news about books to book lovers everywhere. They offer a cooperative, Christ-centered organization which encourages the sharing of knowledge about writing, marketing, and public relations, as well as reaching out to readers, retailers, librarians, and event planners.
