She consults at major companies including Pixar Studios, where she has created a lecture series for their animators for the past eight years.
Harris, co-founder and former director of programming of the Los Angeles Film Festival (LAFF) will speak on critical film festival strategies that will help your film find and deliver an audience to potential distributors.
Harris owns and operates his own successful Los Angeles-based consulting business whose personal clients have included several feature Academy and Emmy Award nominees and winners, as well as short films such as Disney’s 2004 Oscar-nominated short “Destino”; 2009 Oscar-nominated short “Kavi”; the 2004 Academy Award winner for “Best Live Action Short Film”, “Two Soldiers”, and the 2005 Academy Award winner for “Best Animated Short Film” “Ryan”. Harris produces and instructs at his own highly acclaimed monthly film seminar series at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles.
