B&H Publishing Group Announces Partnership with (in)courage
New line for women to feature relationship-strengthening
resources from the popular online community
NASHVILLE, Tenn., September 19, 2016— B&H Publishing Group announces its partnership with (in)courage to create and launch an array of resources that will support women in developing relationship and community.
“B&H is thrilled to have the opportunity to link arms with (in)courage,” said Jennifer Lyell, Trade Book Publisher at B&H Publishing Group. “We have watched as they have engaged women with life changing conversations centered around the matters of everyday faith and know that God is working through them. It is our hope and prayer that the resources we can develop together will be an extension of that life changing ministry that shapes everyday life for women.”
(in)courage is an online community committed to making safe spaces for women to connect. Through blog posts, book clubs, and sharing encouragement through social media channels, (in)courage is able to recognize and celebrate what sometimes gets dismissed as “ordinary” for the “glorious ordinary” it truly is through faith-focused conversations and connection.
“We are excited about working with B&H, and to join their publishing platform to reach even more women with the strength, encouragement and hope that they need to be a Christian woman today,” shared Lisa-Jo Baker, community manager of (in)courage. “We believe God’s hand is at work, and we’re honored to be a part of what He’s doing to bring women closer together, and closer to Him.”
B&H will publish the first two trade books of the partnership Craving Connection: 30 Challenges for Real Life Engagement and Never Unfriended: The Secret to Finding and Keeping Lasting Friendships in 2017 with multiple additional titles to come.
Craving Connection (January 2017) takes readers on journey with (in)courage writers who share real-life stories, practical Scripture application, and connection challenges that will encourage readers to embrace the desire God has given them for connection, invest in meaningful relationships, and to become the friend they wish they had. Craving Connection doesn’t just explain why and how we should do life in the context of community and relationships, it gives readers immediately applicable ways to make that happen.
Never Unfriended (April 2017) is a step-by-step guide to friendships from (in)courage community manager Lisa-Jo Baker. Never Unfriended answers the questions that lurk under the surface of every friendship—What are we afraid of? What can’t we change? What can we change? And where do we start?—with personal stories and practical tips.
The partnership with (in)courage spans multiple areas of LifeWay Christian Resources, including both the B&H imprint (trade distribution), the LifeWay imprint (direct to church distribution), as well as LifeWay Christian Stores.
“Biblical solutions for life is the core of the work we do at LifeWay Christian Resources,” noted Lyell, “the ministry and resources we are privileged to develop with (in)courage are a perfect fit for that mission as they engage women with biblical truth through the experiences of daily life.”

At (in)courage you are welcome to a place of faith, connection and friendship, where you will always find yourself among friends. Founded in 2009 by DaySpring, the Christian products subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc., the vision for (in)courage was to create a new home for the hearts of women, where women take turns pulling up a chair to share their stories of what Jesus looks like in their everyday, gloriously ordinary, and often messy lives. Since then, (in)courage has grown into a vibrant community that reaches thousands of women every day, welcoming them just the way they are, offering a space to breathe, loving support, and resources for meaningful connection.
