St. Louis, MO—Three new titles have been added to Concordia Publishing House’s flagship Arch® Books collection. Cain and AbelThe Night Peter Cried, and Where Is Jesus? are now available for purchase.

In Cain and Abel, you will hear the story of Cain killing his brother Abel. Cain denied responsibility for his actions, but God did not abandon Cain. With this retelling of Genesis 4 by Nicole Dreyer, teach your little ones about God’s promise of redemption.

The Night Peter Cried, by Larry Burgdorf, retells the story of Jesus forgiving Peter after he denied him three times before the crucifixion. This is based on Luke 22:31–34, Luke 22:54–62, John 18:15–27, and John 21:3–19.

Lastly, Jonathan Schkade’s Where Is Jesus? will narrate the story of Luke 2:41–52, when Mary and Joseph lose track of Jesus and find Him in the temple in Jerusalem.

For over 50 years, Arch® Books have helped families communicate timeless truths to children and create enduring memories. Each Arch Book contains 16 pages of easy-to-read rhymes and a special message. More than 60 million copies have been sold, and the Arch Book message has been translated into 14 different languages since 1965.

This series attracts the attention of children and adults alike through short portrayals of complete Bible stories. Arch®  Books (recommended for children ages 2–12) are easy to comprehend and remember. Each book includes a letter to parents, providing in-depth information about the Bible story. This allows parents to answer their children’s questions about God and His people as the stories are read.
