McDonough has authored over 30 published books and novellas that have appeared frequently on CBA and ECPA’s bestseller lists. Her titles have won numerous Heartsong Presents’ annual readers contests and Inspirational Readers Choice contests. She is an ACFW Carol Awards finalist and in 2013 she was the winner of an OWFI for Best Fiction Novel and had a Romantic Times Recommended Inspirational Book.
