The first will be in the Chicago area on May 10, and the second will be in Door County, WI on August 2.The Chicago-area conference, being held at The Metropolis in Arlington Hts., is based on her bookThrive, which released from Moody Publishers last year. “I started the Thrive Conference because I want to see people thrive,” says AbuJamra. “I believe that no matter what your circumstances are, and no matter how difficult or disappointing your life has been, God wants you to have hope and joy. You were created to Thrive and I want to help you get to that place of hope.” In her book Thrive, Lina shows how to make a difference in life right now instead of sitting around waiting for something to happen. In her very open and honest style, she uses examples from her life and the Bible to address and answer issues and questions that many have. Although Lina still practices medicine on the side, she spends most of her time working for her non-profit organization called Living with Power Ministries.
