Anchor Distributors, a division of Whitaker Corporation, and Bridgestone Multimedia Group (BMG) have finalized a licensing agreement which launched Jan. 1, 2016. Under the agreement, Anchor has exclusive licensing rights to produce, market, and distribute Bridgestone films and teaching videos to all retailers in the CBA market.

Both companies share a commitment to providing excellent Christian resources to the retail industry.  Anchor has been in the distribution business since 1970 and will leverage its experience and logistics efficiencies to benefit Bridgestone which has been producing high-quality Christian films for over 25 years.

“We have been distributing Bridgestone’s excellent products for years and are thrilled to take the relationship to this new level, ” said John Whitaker, vice president of Whitaker Corporation and head of Anchor Distributors. “It makes sense to work together in an increased capacity. I expect this partnership will enable the team at Bridgestone to focus their talents on continued development of quality, family-friendly, faith based films.”

David Austin, executive vice president of Bridgestone concurred, saying, “We have enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Anchor Distributors and now we’re elated to take that partnership to a deeper level.  Together we will continue to deliver to our customers the unequaled service and outstanding value that BMG has been known for in the Christian retail products industry.”

BMG is headquartered in Chandler, Arizona with field offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Rock Rapids, Iowa.  They will continue their operations from those sites.

Anchor is the distribution arm of Whitaker Corporation which also includes Whitaker House, its publishing division. Whitaker Corporation’s 200,000-plus square foot warehouse is located in southwestern Pennsylvania.
