Lake Mary, FL – Charisma House, a global leader in Christian book and Bible publishing, announces the acquisition of American activist, author, and former state representative Alveda King to publish her next book, King Family Truths, in January 2018.

As the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and guardian of the King family legacy, Alveda King seeks to share stories that reveal how her famous family instilled spiritual truths in her life and taught her that the blessings that flow from using your gifts and talents can be boundless.

In February King joined President Donald J. Trump as he visited the National Museum of African American History and Culture for the first time since its September 2016 opening, commemorating many exhibits, including one of her uncle Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

King is a former college professor, author, mentor, stage and screen actress, Georgia State legislator, and presidential appointee. She is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as a grateful mother and grandmother.
