Carse will be sharing through song and dance an inspiring message about the power that words have in our lives, and in the lives of our children. Carse will be joined on stage by local children of all walks of life, many who are faced with learning disabilities. All proceeds will support “Y i Count” as well as the new app for kids “Fruit Farm of the Spirit.”
Carse is passionate about the issues surrounding bullying, which inspired him to write the soon to be released anthem “Awesome” and launch the “Y i Count” campaign. “Bullying has become an epidemic in our nation, and we hope this event reminds people that words have power. Bullying is never ok. We want to inspire Orlando to start a movement that celebrates the uniqueness of each person.”
The “Y i Count” Campaign (www.yicount.org) focuses on new ways to help stop bullying in the school system, in the work place, and in the digital world. The organization also is committed to recognizing and awarding individuals faced with adversity who show great compassion to others in their community. Carse recently launched the theme song “Awesome” for the organization, with the video posted here: https://vimeo.com/177662882.
