Carol Stream, Ill. — Tyndale House Publishers today announced that New York Times best-selling author Joel C. Rosenberg will be hosting an “Implosion Simulcast” on Saturday, June 16. The times for the event are: 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Central/Pacific and 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Eastern/Mountain. The simulcast will look to answer the question: Is America headed for implosion or revival? The simulcast is being conducted in conjunction with the release of his newest non-fiction title, Implosion: Can American Recover from its Economic & Spiritual Challenges (Tyndale House Publishers, June 12, 2012, ISBN 978-1414319674).

During the first hour of the simulcast, Joel will discuss the research he did for Implosion, examining the reasons why the United States faces not merely “decline” but the real and growing risk of outright collapse. Participants will consider what the Bible has to say about the future of America and whether the U.S. is ever mentioned directly or indirectly in Bible prophecy. They will examine historic lessons from the remarkable and sweeping Christian revivals known as first “Great Awakening” of the early 1700s and the “Second Great Awakening” of the early 1800s, and consider the possibility of a Third Great Awakening in our time.

In the second and third hours, Joel will take live questions at Houston’s First Baptist Church where we will be holding the event, as well as questions that come in via text, Twitter and Facebook from those watching all over the world.

Churches, fellowship groups, or small group Bible studies are encouraged to sign up to participate in this unique event at: http://incastevents.com/portfolio/joel-c-rosenberg-implosion/. The cost is $49 for 1-1- persons and $99 for 11-50. For churches, the cost is $425 for churches with 51-200 members and $850 for churches with 201 members-or-more. Those who sign up by April 30 will save 15%.
