http://www.MarriageStudies.com Del Mar, California – 7/7/2011 – Family counselors and best-selling authors Dr. David and Lisa Frisbie will be featured at ICRS 2011 in Atlanta as they introduce two new titles from Beacon Hill Press. "Right from the Start: Couples Guide” and “Right from the Start: Counselors Guide” are written for dating and engaged couples and those (counselors, ministers, other professionals) who do premarital counseling with such couples. The International Christian Retailers Show (formerly Christian Booksellers Association) is the largest annual gathering of Christian publishers, authors, retailers and others. This year ICRS/CBA comes to the Georgia World Conference Center in downtown Atlanta. Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie will do an author appearance and book signing at Booth 1138 in the Main Exhibit Hall on Monday, July 11, from 9 to 10 AM. They are represented at ICRS/CBA by STL Distributors and by Beacon Hill Press. Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie are Executive Directors of The Center for Marriage and Family Studies in Del Mar, California. They are the authors of fourteen books and dozens of articles about marriage, parenting, and family topics. During 2011 their article credits include “Thriving Family” (Focus on the Family), “ParentLife” (Lifeway) and “Grace & Peace” (Nazarene Discipleship Ministries). Books by the Frisbies are published by Beacon Hill Press, Harvest House Publishers, Group Publishing, and Strang Since the mid-1980’s Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie have been widely known as "America’s Remarriage Experts" due to their ground-breaking work with divorced adults, remarried couples, and stepfamilies. In constant demand as speakers and consultants, the Frisbies have traveled to all 50 United States, 9 provinces and 2 territories of Canada, and more than 40 world nations, training family counselors and conducting retreats, seminars and workshops. Dr. David Frisbie teaches courses in Family Studies at Southern Nazarene University and is an adjunct professor at Point Loma Nazarene University. In addition, Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie jointly serve as Coordinators of Marriage and Family Life Ministry for the global Nazarene denomination. Married for three decades, they make their home in San Diego. They are members of the San Diego Christian Writers Guild, on whose faculty they serve each year at the Fall Conference. Dr. David Frisbie serves as a book judge, Christian Living category, for the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.
