Colorado Springs, CO— David C Cook received seventeen ADDY® Awards at the annual creative contest held by the Pikes Peak Advertising Federation, an organization dedicated to improving the understanding, practice, and quality of advertising. Each year, over 300 locally produced advertising pieces are judged. Winners of the 2010 ADDY Awards were recognized on February 26 and will advance next to regional and national competitions. Not only did David C Cook top last year’s total, they were the biggest winner in the region for the third year in a row.
“David C Cook is extremely honored to be recognized by the Pikes Peak Region of the American Advertising Federation this year,” said art director Thom Hoyman. “At David C Cook we strive to create work that makes a difference not only in our community, but also around the world.”
The final tier of competition will take place in June at the National American Advertising Awards Show sponsored by the American Advertising Federation. The national ADDYs honor creative excellence in advertising and represent the industry’s largest and most representative creative competition. In addition, 2002 marked the first time entrants were solicited and accepted from all across the world, making the ADDY competition one of the largest of its kind.
