GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., October 8, 2010 – Zondervan announced that it has entered into an electronic publishing partnership with the software company WORDsearch. The complete 12-volume Expositor’s Bible Commentary (EBC) set is now available as well as the two-volume abridged set. This commentary set, written by a world-class panel of 78 editors and evangelical scholars, covers each book of the Old and New Testaments. It uses the NIV but also refers freely to other translations and to the original languages.

We first published the NIV electronically back in 1987,” said Randy Beck, president of WORDsearch. “We’ve been getting requests for other Zondervan titles ever since, so we’re really excited about our new partnership. We’re about to release the Expositor’s Bible Commentary and the NIV Study Bible, so our customers will start seeing results immediately.”

“We are very pleased to be able to enter into this new partnership with a respected Bible software company, enabling their customers to access Zondervan titles,” said Zondervan’s Paul Engle, senior vice president and publisher of Church, Academic and Reference Resources. “Our mission is to meet the needs of people with resources that glorify Jesus Christ and promote biblical principles. The EBC set accomplishes this and is a great match for the search capacities and features available for those who use WORDsearch on their computers.”
